Walter Julius Joba, 99, a long time Stillwater resident passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on January 30, 2013.
Born in Passaic, NJ on July 20, 1913 to Anthony and Sophia Czymonkiewitz - Dziuba, he spent his early years in Clifton.
As a young man he joined the Merchant Marines and first worked on cruise ships and later on troop ships throughout World War II. After the war he moved to Stillwater where he owned and operated a dairy farm for several years.
