Local Hamilton College Student Presents Research at Undergrad Conference

Clinton, N.Y. – Rachel V. Beamish, daughter of James and Teresa Beamish of Melrose, was one of 22 Hamilton College students who presented their research on Sept. 26 at the New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium Upstate New York Undergraduate Research Conference at Colgate University.

Beamish, a senior majoring in Classical Studies and English, presented “Adaptations of Classical Mythology in Contemportary Young Adult Literature.”
