STILLWATER -  Kathryn M. Peacock, 72, of Colonial Rd., died peacefully Friday June 23rd, with her loving husband James at her side.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints on the Hudson North Church(St. Peter’s), 895 Hudson Ave, Stillwater, NY 12170 on Tuesday, June 27th at NOON followed by burial at Saratoga National Cemetery.

Calling hours will also be held in the church on Monday the 26th from 4-7PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a future Nursing Scholarship at Stillwater High School. Checks may be made payable to the school c/o DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Mechanicville Housing Authority of the City of Mechanicville, New York (MHA) is amending its Annual and/or Five Year PHA plan. The MHA has received a Commitment to Enter into a Housing Assistance Payments (CHAP) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the conversion of public housing units at John S. Moore Homes and Davenport Estates to Project Based Voucher Rental Assistance (PBRA) under the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD) in accordance with the guidelines of PIH Notice 2012-32, Rev 2 and any successor notices. Conversion under RAD is considered a Significant Deviation and Significant Amendment or Modification to the MHA Annual and /or Five Year Plan.

This is an advance notice with an opportunity to present public comments regarding this change.

The draft of the proposed Significant Amendment is available for review Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the John S. Moore Homes Administrative Office building located at 2 Harris Avenue, Suite 1, Mechanicville, New York 12118.

Comments must be made in writing and presented to the MHA at the above address no later than Friday, August 11, 2017 9:00 a.m.

A public hearing will be conducted on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the John S. Moore Homes Community Room located at the above address.

Penny J. Bilinski – 71

 

STILLWATER-Penny J. Bilinski, 71, of Sherman Road, died Saturday, June 3rd at Mary’s Haven, Saratoga Springs, with her loving son, Cory at her side.  Born in Massillon, OH, daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen Gutshall Gesaman, she was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School in Massillon.

 

Friends are invited to a service at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY on Tuesday, June 27th at 10AM.  Those wishing to attend are asked to be at the visitor’s center at 9:45AM.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Mary’s Haven, 35 New St, Saratoga Springs, NY12866 in loving memory of Penny J. Bilinski.
