SSgt. George Anthony Girtler IV – 37
SCOTIA - SSgt George Anthony Girtler IV, 37, passed away from a pulmonary embolism on January 11, 2020 while serving in Antarctica with the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base in support of Operation Deep Freeze.
Calling hours at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Thursday, January 30th from 5 - 7:30PM. A Funeral Service will begin immediately following the calling hours on Thursday at 7:30PM. Military Honors and burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville will be held on Friday at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, George's family has asked that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

MECHANICVILLE - Cynthia Travis Robens Petronis, 61, of Hudson Avenue, passed away on Friday, January 24th at Saratoga Hospital following a brief illness, with her loving family at her side.
Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 10AM with burial to follow in Saratoga National Cemetery.

STILLWATER – Carolyn Wood DeMarco, 77, of Flike Rd., died Wednesday, January 22nd, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

MECHANICVILLE – Mary Jane Mignacci, 96, of Saratoga Ave, joined her family in heaven on January 19th 2020. Born in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of Anthony and Elena Lupo.

MALTA - Miss Ruth V. Shiebler, 92, former Mechanicville High School (MHS) acclaimed music director, died Sunday, Jan 19th, at Gateway House of Peace in the loving company of family from effects of years' struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, Jan 25th from noon – 1 P.M. at Christ Episcopal Church's Welcome Center, 15 W. High Street, Ballston Spa, with a memorial service at 1 P.M.

Ronald “Ron” Czajkowski, 74, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2020 after a short illness.
