On Friday, September 2, the newest members of the Stillwater Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted. This years inductees are Michael Kardash (Class of 1975), Peter D'Aloia Sr., Dominick Fruci, Aileen Durrant, and the 2005-06 Varsity Boys Basketball team. The inductees will be honored in the middle school cafeteria at 6 p.m. before the Varsity Football game versus Tamarac. They will also be honored on the field during halftime. Please come support the past and present Warriors!

Chester L. Morelli, Sr. – 89
MECHANICVILLE – Chester L. Morelli, Sr., 89, longtime resident of Mechanicville, died Sunday, Aug 28th at his daughters home in Malta, after an extended illness.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.

MECHANICVILLE - Joan A. Brennan of South Second Avenue passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Saratoga Hospital. She was 89.
At Joan’s request, private burial services will be conducted at St. Paul’s Cemetery at the convenience of her family.

Thomas J. Waldron – 75
MECHANICVILLE – Thomas J. Waldron, 75, of Frances Street, died suddenly on Wednesday Aug. 24th. A Mechanicville High School graduate, he was born in Troy, August 28, 1940 son of the late Hawley and Caroline Sipperly Waldron, Sr.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 10AM to 12PM(Noon) at St. Luke’s on the Hill Church, 40 McBride Road, Mechanicville,NY 12118.
A Mass will follow the calling hours Monday at 12:30PM with burial to follow in Hudson View Cemetery.
