SCHAGHTICOKE - The 3rd annual Radiant Peace Memorial Tree lighting ceremony will take place again this year on Saturday November 28^th at 5pm at the Schaghticoke Town Hall. The Radiant Peace Tree Memorial offers people a unique opportunity to purchase, decorate and personalize a memorial tree as a way to “remember those who can’t be with us this holiday season.” This year, 70 individual trees, including the community tree, will fill the lawn of the town hall this holiday season; this is an addition of almost twenty trees from prior years. The Schaghticoke Highway Department prepared the lawn making it possible for more trees to be added to the memorial.
