On Election Day in November 2014 New York voters approved the Smart Schools Bond Act. This act will provide $2 billion dollars in funding for classroom technology.  Hoosic Valley is slated to receive an estimated allocation of $967,472 according to a New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) information source.
