Adirondack Save-A-Stray Pets for June 11th 2014

Boone pups 01 Boone pups 03 Boone pups 04Boone Litter - These babies found themselves on death row in a high kill shelter in Tennessee. We just could not let that happen so we had them pulled in the nick of time by our southern rescue angels. Now they are headed North to find their forever homes. They have been vet checked, vaccinated and wormed. For more information please call the shelter at 518-654-6220 or come by. We are open 7 days a week.
Smith Girl 02 Smith Girl 04Smith Girls - These beautiful girls were an oops litter and the mother's owner wanted them gone. So we stepped in and took them before he could dump them at the local kill shelter. Now they have been vet check, vaccinated and wormed and are ready to find their forever homes. For more information on these or any of our other furbabies please call the shelter at 518-654-6220.

Dachshund mix puppies - The mother was surrendered when the puppies were three days old. She is a registered red long hair dachshund. She weighs about 9 lbs. (The father was a wire haired Terrier.) She had eight puppies. These are the males. The females and Mom have already been adopted with Mom going to the foster who took care of them. They were born July 23 and have had 3 vaccinations and wormed three times. For more information please call the shelter at 518-654-6220.
Amelia - This little cutie is a little lab mix who was brought in with 7 siblings. She was the last of her litter to find a forever home. She is up to date on shots, wormed and vet checked. For more information on Amelia please call the shelter at 518-654-6220.
Tubbs and Ash. Another sad story and way too long to get into. We can only say that these guys were thrown out of their home into the cold. I can't imagine the fear that they felt after being inside on their favorite chair to one day face the harsh reality that they could not be indoor kitties anymore. ASAS could not leave them outside. We are filling up very fast and need adoption of our older kitties or else we will not be able to take in and give safe haven to more babies left out in the cold. Please come and adopt. These guys are up to date on vaccines and spayed and neutered. For further information on how you can rescue a kitty you can call the shelter at (518) 654-6220photo 1 Amelia Tubbs Ash
