Richard “Dick” Ryan – 91

 

STILLWATER – Richard “Dick” Ryan, 91, of County Route 76, died at his home, Thursday January 21st, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Bennington, VT December 31, 1924, he was the son of the late William and Helen Blanchard Ryan and brother of the late Elinor Warzecha.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7PM on Monday evening, January 25, at All Saints on the Hudson North Church, 885 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170.  Calling hours prior to the mass on Monday from 4 - 6:45PM will also be at the church.  Inurnment service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Saratoga National Cemetery at 10AM.  Friends wishing to attend are asked to be at the cemetery’s visitor center at 9:45AM.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Richard T. Ryan.

Mrs. Lucia M. Ryan

MECHANICVILLE – Mrs. Lucia M. Ryan entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 26, 2013 at her home in the Teresian House, Albany, NY. Born February 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Eleanor Bailey Marihugh of Mechanicville, NY where she was raised and lived most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years in 1992, former Mechanicville Mayor and longtime City Judge Thomas E. Ryan.

The family is deeply grateful to the sisters and staff at the Teresian House for their love, care and friendship during Lucia’s residence there.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

Mrs. Frances Dunn Ryan — 72


TROY – Mrs. Frances Dunn Ryan, 72, of Summit Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 21st, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after a brief illness.

Born in Stillwater Feb. 15, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Vardy Dunn.  She grew up in the Willow Glen/Crow Hill section and attended Mechanicville schools.
