Mayor’s Secretary a Topic During Council Meeting – by T Mahoney
MECHANICVILLE FEBRUARY 17- A public hearing was scheduled for this date to discuss amendments in to City Code relating to the Mayor's secretary. Under the proposal the secretary or secretaries would will receive a salary determined by the Mayor and would serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.

Mayor and Former Mayors Join Together in Supporting The Margaret Mehan Fundraiser
MECHANICVILLE - Mayor Anthony Sylvester and four former mayors have come together to support the Community Center's fundraiser named in honor and memory of Margaret Mehan. The drive is designed to raise funds to provide sneakers and backpacks to students who need them as they return to school. This fundraiser coincides with the 100th birthday anniversary of Margaret who was born in 1913.
