MECHANICVILLE – Louis Benamati, 94, of So. Second Ave., died Saturday evening at Saratoga Hospital, after a brief illness.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 9:30 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial with military honors to follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery.

Calling hours at the North Main Street Church on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.

MECHANICVILLE – Ralph V. DePucchio, 91, former resident of Mechanicville, died Thursday, Dec. 8th in Pinellas Park, Florida after an extended illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Dec 14 at 11 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial with military honors to follow at the SaratogaNational Cemetery.

Paul J. Higgs – 55

MECHANICVILLE – Paul J. Higgs, 55, of No Main St., died suddenly on Wednesday, November 19th at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born November 25, 1959, he was the son of Kathryn Barthlow Higgs of Carrollton, GA and the late Paul Higgs. A self taught chef, Paul had worked at Roma Food Imports in Latham for the past 20 years and previously at the Ramada Inn in Schenectady.

Barbara Marshall Sgambati – 75

MECHANICVILLE – Barbara Marshall Sgambati, 75, of No. Central Ave., died Wednesday, March 25, at Saratoga Care Ctr., Ballston Spa, after an extended illness.

Born in Poughkeepsie, June 5, 1939, daughter of the late Clifton and Catherine Wixted Marshall, Barb was also predeceased by her brother Robert Marshall, who died in 2014.

A homemaker, Barb enjoyed embroidering and bingo, daily telephone visiting with family and friends.  A proud Mother and Grandmother, Barb loved her family.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years Stephen W. “Billy” Sgambati, her beloved daughter Darlene and husband Bill Reil of Pasadena, Md., two precious grandsons Joshua and Nathan Reil, along with in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment in Memory’s Garden, Colonie. There will be no public services.

MECHANICVILLE – Mrs. Helen Crannell Colliton, 89, of 180 No. Main St., died Wednesday, March 25th at Rosewood Gardens, No. Greenbush, following an extended illness.

Born in Stillwater February 24, 1926, daughter of the late Leroy and Laura Crannell, Helen lived for many years on Vosburgh Rd.

MECHANICVILLE – Kathleen Connor Small Susko, 83, died peacefully on Friday, January 30th, after a long illness in the nursing unit of Ellis Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Troy, daughter of the late Harry “Happy” and Edith May Hadley Connor, Kathleen, who has been known to many of family and friends as “May” was a 1949 graduate of Mechanicville High School.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 7 PM at St. Luke’s on the Hill Episcopal Church, 40 McBride Road, Mechanicville.  Spring burial in Hudson ViewCemetery.
