Meet Susie – Susie was adopted from Adirondack Save-A-Stray. She is approximately 5 &1/2. She was very timid when I adopted her. I take her to work every day and being around people has helped bring her out of her shell. She is a well behaved and calm dog. Susie only barks when she is happy to see someone. I adopted a cat two months after I got her, and they are best friends.
Buddy - He's 7 weeks old. And we think he's part border collie or party cocker mix. He is vet checked, up to date on shots and more,

Skye
She probably got her name for her love of sitting in any available window looking out at the Sky. A petite young 1 1/2 yo spayed female. She loves being petted or sitting in your lap being slowly brushed. Skye is a little timid when she first meets someone and sweetly hides her face in your hand when she’s scared and wants to feel safe. Skye gets along with children and other cats but has yet to meet a dog. Lucky will be the owner that Skye chooses to adopt.
Sarge
3 yr. old neutered black lab. Sarge had a rough start but we are finding out what a sweet dog he is. He likes to go on walks and rides well in the car. Sarge has met several dogs and has been good around them. (proper meet & greet is required). He's good around adults and older children.
Sarge has found a foster home and is doing great. He loves going to work with them. They also take him jogging and hiking with them. He was very underweight but has put on 5 lbs! We also found out that he's housetrained. Sarge is going to a make great addition to someone’s family.

Caleb- Caleb is a puppy that someone dropped off and our rescue has had him for a few months. He is a really good dog he knows some commands and is house broken. He needs and deserves a good home he is good around other dogs big and small. Looks like a cur. He is up to date an shots wormed and more.
Caylyn - Caylyn is a super sweet little terrier mix. She was in a very bad way when she was brought into rescue. She had an ingrown collar and a bad skin condition. With a lot of tlc she has healed up beaitifully ans is ready for her forever home. She is up to date on shots, wormed and a whole lot more.
Sarah - Sarah is around 7 to 8 weeks old. She was found wandering around a dumpster at a mall. She has been vaccinated and wormed.
Cox 5- They are 7-8 weeks old Shepherd mixes, have their age appropriate shots and have been vet checked. Morgan 6 - These 6 puppies are approx 8 weeks old. They received their first booster. They are 3 to 5 lbs each. They will be medium sized dogs.
Gracie is a gentle and sweet momma who has just finished weaning her four kittens. In her foster home Gracie gets along with all the other cats - even ones that are typically less cat friendly….there is just something about her that other cats seem to love. Gracie loves attention and enjoys being picked up and snuggled but she is also happy to be independent and spend time lounging on her own. She can be very playful with interactive toys. Annie - The sad story of Annie to a happy ending! These pictures are of Annie before she had her splints and casts removed. She is ready to go to a forever home! Annie was was hit by a car and got dragged up under it, So sad! She had intensive veterinary care. Our rescue partners in Georgia found her and immediately took her in for medical attention. She ended up with a small fracture on her left hind leg and a clean break of the tibia and fibia on her right leg. The veterinarians worked very hard to save her leg and she healed beautifully. She now runs and plays, loves other animals, children and would make a great family pet. She did not come out unscathed however and has a slight paw deformity. No big deal as she is a happy girl and it should not matter to a family who really wants to rescue and make a difference in Annie's life. After-all, nobody is perfect. Her foster mother says that she is a total doll, is crate trained, and working on potty training. She is around 15 weeks old and around 16 lbs. The Doc says that she is a Rhodesian Ridge-back mix. TYKETyke has kind of a funny story on how he was rescued and I am so glad that we did. He is absolutely wonderful. About two weeks back we received an email with pictures of dogs that needed rescue from a kill facility in the Carolina's. In the way corner of the picture there was this dog with his head tilted asking "What about me?" Something just tugged at my heart strings and I called facility to ask the story on the Brown and White dog. They said his time was almost up and heneeded rescue. He was a bigger puppy about 4 months old and was brought in by Animal Control. I knew we had to save him. We payed for his vetting and transport and he is here now at the shelter safe and sound.
